50^th Annual Christmas

Awards Banquet

OMG….Goodness – another year is almost gone as the end of 2011 is in sight.  Christmas will be here – probably before we are ready for it.  For most of us, Christmas is a very special time when we enjoy interacting with our kids, grand kids, or just reminiscing about times past, and reflecting on the season.

On the evening of our regular December meeting, we will celebrate our 50^th Anniversary with our Annual Christmas Awards Banquet.  A complete Holiday Dinner will be provided with traditional meats.  Our SARS members will provide all the “fixin’s and trimmin’s” – salads, dressing, veggies, and those belt busting desserts that no one can leave on the table.  

Members and guests may begin arriving around 6:00 p.m. to bring food and set up.  Arlean Krueger will provide a traditional holiday punch for a brief social period before dinner.  Dinner will be served at 7:00 p.m.

The after-dinner festivities will feature special awards to deserving rosarians who have gone “above & beyond”.  So, ladies, get out the real jewelry; men, give the sneakers a rest and shine your dress shoes – and come on out.  Share a beautiful evening with your rose friends and family.

Those interested in helping to decorate the Garden Center may come at 9:00 A.M.

(There is an activity going on in the afternoon.)
