The San Antonio Rose Society of San Antonio, Texas is a Non-Profit Educational Organization affiliated with the American Rose Society .


The rose is considered to be the Queen of all Flowers, and is our official national floral emblem.  The objective of the Society is to promote interest in all aspects of rose culture through a variety of educational programs and publications, rose shows, and rose-related community projects.



The San Antonio Rose Society will host the Spring 2014 Rose Show on Saturday, May 3, 2014 at the Lions Field Adult & Senior Center, 2809 Broadway.   About 400 competitive entries of beautiful award-winning roses will be judged during the morning.   Cut roses and bouquets will be available for sale.   The Rose Show will be open to the public from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m.   A seminar will be conducted starting at 2:00 p.m. on "How To Grow Roses".   Admission is FREE.


Membership: Is open to everyone who supports the objectives of the Society. Annual membership to our rose society is $12 per family, which includes our monthly bulletin, "San Antonio Rose" and the SARS booklet, "How To Grow Roses" .
